Trouble began in North Karachi when armed men opened fire on Zarina Colony, leading to an alteraction with Rangers personnel. Incidents also occured in Surjani Town, New Karachi Industrial Area, Khawaja Ajmair Nagri, Landhi and Malir.

I live in Gulshan… and on the drive to work this morning via Shaharah-e-Faisal all the way to II Chundrigar Road, there was just one ranger with a gun… so much for security patrol and shoot at sight orders…

  2. waqas says:

Normal pathan and mohajir have no animosity and this clash seems to be agency backed or either foreign backed.

  3. Roohi amir says:

I live in the affected area. The violence is largely due to the dominant political party of Karachi.
