i am little disopionted by your statment.
      PAKISTAN is great country.
Every antion has ups and downs-USA took 200 years to become a civilized nation.
if you want to compare PAKISTAN ,then see other counries, like uganda, kenya, mexico, etc.
      Please Re-think about your statment.

    • Usman says:

Sorry I disagree with you. Pakistan is not a failed nation. We have a country but not a nation.

    • Harris says:

If you are a Pakistani, then it is because of Pakistani’s like you. If you are not, then your view from outside is not a true representation of the disturbances being faced by our country.

    • Anil says:

Cant disagree on this Khan sahib

    Dear All,

I am from Indian Occupied Kashmir. As this news broke out all my friends here were stunned . We Kashmiris are die hard fans of Pakistani cricket team but this revelation of Pakistani cricketers involved in match fixing has rendered a hard blow on the faces of Kashmiris who watch Pakistani Matches keenly. When Pakistan wins, Its a celebration time here and when the loose gloom descends.

  6. AWAN says:

Those found guilty should face life ban and civil punishment. Old corrupt mafia and society will find the excuses for them. All will settle under the carpet like conversation of voice box of Airblue flight

  7. khalid says:

News of the World is known for its sensational tabloid journalism and has little credibility among its reading public.

Don’t believe everything what you read in such news papers. I request everyone to wait for full facts to emerge before rushing to pass judgements over the cricketers. Everyone is innocent till he is proved guilty.

  8. tharik says:

I think this is an allegation with intention to malign the name of Pakistan especially when the country is already reeling under a natural disaster.

  9. aahlooHUQ says:

ah come on. in 2 months u’ll forgive them. seen it happen lots of times before.
    boom boom likes apples.

  10. salah says:

It is the time for soul searching, our ideas of right and wrong are so far from teaching of our religion and that of any civilised society that we are capable of even comitting murder and be able to justify it.do we have a hope as a nation i do not know.

  11. Kamran - London says:

With Pakistan, you always gets this feeling that surely it can not get any worse than this. The events srounding the national cricket team, is the latest in the series of gut wrenching news coming out from this unfortunate country
We as a nation have lost the sense of right and wrong. What is happening on the cricket pictch is just a reflection our society. A culture where doing the wrong/immoral deeds are rewarded rather than be frawned upon or punished from the very top to the very bottom. If it is not easy being a pakistani in pakistan than it is definitely not easy being a pakistani abroad
    Ashamed Pakistani

  12. awais says:

wait wait wait!!!! dont break your hearts…its just an allegation and has not been yet proven… It might be a conspiracy against the young emerging pakistani bowolers. The video, they are showing, might have been recorded after the end of the 2nd day of the 3rd test… May be the majeed was used by someone… so be patient…..

    • Rabia Rehman says:

oh comeon. You are still living in fool’s paradise. I am 100% sure that these allegations are true. Expect everything bad from Pakistanis. Pakistan is No 1 in corruption at every level. So Shameful for all of us. Feeling embarrassed as a Pakistani. Never heard anything good from pakistani. Everyday BBC has some BAD news from pakistan:(

  13. Anil says:

    Absolutely gutted, I must say.
In my earlier comments I praised Mohammed Amir immensely. But now after this episode I ask one question, how could he do that, I mean he’s just 18, what a shame?

Corruption is everywhere, but when you sell out like this, then this becomes a disgrace for the whole nation. This is the last thing Pakistan wanted at this point of time.

    • Rizwan Liaqat says:

I actually feel sorry for Amir that he had to be part of this corrupt team. Given his age and inexperience he was quite likely just following orders.

  14. Hina Safdar says:

A sad day for cricket …………
No support from the cricket board at all even no denial. i wonder what if the allegations prove to be wrong? will we believe the players?

  15. U.E Hayyat Khan says:

Why can’t we get some good news these days? WHY?

  16. Syed Ali says:

Min 6 months Jail is MUST, and root level investigation is required.

  17. Hashmath Baig says:

Players should be punished by the Scotland Yard and put behind bars. If they come back to Pakistan there will an Enquiry Commission which will finally absolve them of all the charges and they will be playing again for the country. ICC please ban all players involved for life,

  18. a suggestion to pakistan cricket- dont play international cricket for at least an year.Have a debate that why pakistani cricket players are always at fault in one way or the other in everyday news.Have a psychiatric consultation that what is wrong with the mental fitness.DISSOLVE PCB.Only professionals should b in cricket board..I,BEING FROM INDIAN ADMINISTERED KASHMIR,ALONGWITH OTHER KASHMIRI FANS OF PAKI CRICKET R EXTREMELY SORROWFUL TO THIS WOEFUL TALE

  19. Khumar says:

Scotland Yard should throw these guys behind bars.

  20. Ilyas Sayed. says:

These players carry the flag of Pakistan, they wear Pakistani Uniform and are supposed to be the Ambassadors of the Nation. If they or their superiors in the Bureaucracy of PCB are spared as always happens, it a shame for all of us. The window dressing processes of Inquiries and setting up of Commissions is on and for some reasons we the Cricket loving fans seem to forgive and forget these instances each time. We are all equally responsible to bring this shame on to our nation. We are not ready to step up and condemn them in Public. These are not Heroes of the country, they are criminals

  21. From poor to middle class to all mighty watch cricket with devotion! why that is the only form of entertainmnet available to common man in Pakistan. These players become heros in teh eyes of fans across the country and most unfortune that these players not only betray their fans but the country itself; thier “Mother land” means land of thier mothers! Shame, they should not only be banned but put in jail is common criminals.

  22. Nasir says:

its really strange, flood fallowed by sialkot brutality and now this match fixing. . . .

  23. Mir Ishfaq says:

Medellein Albright rightly dubbed pakisatn as an International Migrane.I think world would be better without you people. You have given bad name to every field you enetered, top most is our belowed religion, Islam…Shame on you.

  24. Abdullah Khan says:

Its about time make the cricket board and players accountable to the nation. PCB is equally complicit for forgiving the earlier lapse against Aus and Ijaz Butt hasn’t performed.

  25. Malik says:

How much more humiliation we have to bear? Where will this fall end?
