I would like to endorse the comment by Mr. Saulat.

Definitely, the previous matches history says, the team that will bat first, will win.

  8. bakshi says:

If Srilanka bats first and scores more than 150, pakistan will lose.

If Pakistan bats first and scores more than 150, Srilanka will lose.

  9. K.j.Anwari says:

Pakistan should bat first. The openers should be the usual, Shahzaib and Kamran, and they both should be given the command to go berserk. Afridi should be brought in if either of them gets out (who should be told to play his usual game with a little bit of sensibility). Then, if an opener gets out, Malik should come in. However, if afridi gets out then Misbah should be brought in to stabalise the innings. Razzaq and Younis should be left lower in the order (but they should try and play the last 5 overs better than they did against SA in the semi final!).

With regards to bowling, Pakistan should use up all 4 of Gul, Afridi and Ajmal’s overs. Use all of afridi and ajmal’s overs somewhere between 9-18 overs. Make sure Umar Gul starts his spell early and has 1/2 overs left for the end. Aamer and Razzak should still open the bowling.

  10. abdussamad says:

I hope Sri Lanka win. I think whoever bats first has the advantage.

  11. M. Asghar says:

Taking into account as to what has happened up to now, Pakistan has to aim at least 200 runs in 20 overs to be in a good position.

  12. Hariom says:

Srilanka will win, it will make around 180plus runs, pak will win the toss and ask srilanka to bat.

Pakistan will make around 162 runs all out.

The game will be exciting to watch espcly Jayasuriya batting.

  13. mohsin memon says:

    if pakistan bats first

    pak 155/8

    sri 140/7

    if srilanka bats first

    sri 148/9

    pak 150/8

  14. Cricket expert says:

Afridi will score 200 runs and Gul will take 11 wickets.

  15. Rahat Sheikh says:

if pakistan bats first 165 for7 1n 20 overs and sirilanka 160 all out in 19.4 overs.

gul taking 4 wickets and abdul razzak taking 3, shahid afridi 3.

Top scorer pakistan side younus khan 42 in 38 balls.

If srilanka bats first 142 for 5 and pakistan wins by 3 wickets in 19.2 overs.

  16. Ahmad says:

well.. you never know with Pakistan. It has a real chance of winning because the way they have entered the finals must have made Sri Lanka a bit uneasy. But then again Sri Lanka has remained consistent and is in very good form. I would say its anybody’s game but will incline a bit towards Pak.. =) lets keep our fingers crossed..

  17. UMAIR says:

IF PAKISTAN BAT FIRST (INSHA ALLAH)

    PAK 172/7

    IF SRULANKA BAT FIRST

    SRI 158/9

  18. lala45 says:

pakistan will lose this match very closely.

  19. Omar says:

Let’s hope Pakistan win the toss and bat first.
Put on 160 and let Afridi/Ajmal & Gul do the business!
Should be a good game but win or lose, the tournament has put Pakistan back on the cricket map again and shown that they are a force once again..

  20. Vijay Bee says:

Sri Lanka will beat Pakistan irrespective of the toss. This prediction is based on the batting form of Dilshan and the bowling strenght of Murali, Mendis & Malinga. Overall Sri Lankan fielding is good if not brilliant whereas Pakistan fielding can be at best average and at worst shoddy & wretched. However there is always that unpredictability factor which helped Pakistan to beat South Africa. Pakistan has played its final game and would run out of luck.

    Vijay Bee,
    Sydney, Australia

  21. AZAM says:

pakistan will take the cup 20/20

  22. Ghazi says:

To me, ideal situation would be; Pakistan to bat first and post atleast 150 to give bowlers a chance to bowl.

  23. Raza Hemani says:

Srilanka will win the match whether bet first or field first.

The match would be easy go for Srilanka. Pakistan bating line will collapse against Srilankan’s bowling

  24. Sahil Baloch says:

Lets not get into the argument – who will take the T20 cup home. Pakistan has achieved what they suppose to, now wining the last battle in T20 Cup doesn’t matter. For us they are the WINNER.

    Zinadabad

  25. Farhan says:

    Pakistan Will win InshaAllah,
