Bollywood legend Rajesh Khanna passed away in Mumbai on Wednesday, following prolonged illness.
Khanna rose to fame in the late 1960s and would go on to play leading roles in Hindi cinema for the coming decades. He is survived by his film-star wife Dimple Khanna and two daughters, Rinke and Twinkle Khanna.

“Arrey oh baabu mushoy hum to rangmanch ki kathputliyan hain jiski dor us upar wale ke haathon main hai kab, kaun kahan uthega ye koi nahin janta ” the evergreen Rajesh Khannaa.
Great actor he was. My parents were big fans of his old movies.
RIP
He was a great actor.its place never fill.no body cant his place. Kash he will be Muslim.
highly pathetic thinking. degenerated thought process. pity.
Dear DAWOO,
Please open up your mind. Before writing we should at least think twice that it can be read by all. the world is for everyone.
Boss, whats the big deal if he wasn’t? Will you say that for the actresses, “kash I wash she was a man” ?
Really dude..this is exactly the sick mentality that has brought your country to where it is now. I mean there is no harm in being pluralistic and accepting other faiths. But alas secularism is a concept that eludes you pakis.
My friend, please do not generalise.
why you want him to be muslim. art has no boundaries.
whether he was a muslim or not,he was a superstar of bollywood, thats what you know him for,why dont you simply accept him for what he was i.e hindu or muslim makes no difference..art needs no religious differentiation its a business of politics.
Sachhai chup nahin sakti banaawat ke usoolon se
Aur khushbu aa nahin sakti kabhi kaagaz ke phoolon se
-Dushman
Got to love this song (granted the lyrics weren’t Rajesh Khanna’s but he gave them life and entertained us):
kahaa kab kyaa kisi se, tumhen kuchh yaad nahin
hamaare saamane hai, hamaare baad nahin
kitaab-e-husn mein to, wafaa kaa naam nahin, are !
mohabbat tum karogii ? tumhaaraa kaam nahin
It is so appropriate for the situation (singing the praises of a tawaif) and yet so clean.
and yet, in the very next stanza…
akadati khub ho tum, meri mahabub ho tum – (2)
nigaah-e-gair se bhi, magar manasub ho tum
kisi shaayar se puchho, gazal ho yaa rubaa_i
bhari hai shaayari me, tumhaari bevafaa_i
‘Kaka’ will be forever in our hearts…
Pushpa.. I hate tears
and all his songs lyk Pyar deewana hota hai, yeh Shaam Mastani, Zindagi Ik safar Hai Sohana, O Mere Dil ka Chain, Mera Sapnu ki rani, Kora Kagaz tha, Aata Jaate Khubsurat, Zindagi Pyar ka Geet hai, Ye jo Mohabbat hai, Jai Jai shiv shankar
A great actor, who gave us great movies. He will remain in our heart forever.
“Babumoshai..Zindagi ek Rangmanch hai, aur hum sab us Rangmanch ki kathputliyan… Jiski dor upar wale ke haath me hai… Usse na aap badal sakte hain na hum'” Anand mara nahi, Anand marte nahi…”
the man is gone. But the memories will live on.
RIP KAKA
Film Anand and his role of a cancer patient will always be memorable to me.
Babu Moshai … Zindagi aur Maut, Upale ke haath hai Jahanpanah… Hum Sab Rang Manch ki Kathputaliyan hain.. Jinki Dor Upar Wale Ke Haath Main Hai.. Kaun Kab Kaise Uthega .. Yeh Koi Nahin Bataa Sakta. – Rajesh Khanna From Film ANAND.
