Your prayer for Pakistan

Your prayer for Pakistan

On Friday, Pakistan celebrates the sixty-second anniversary of its independence. Recently, the country has seen its fair share of ups and downs. Terrorism, communal violence and the economic and energy crises dominate headlines. But the resilience of the nation and its people has been expressed again and again – through a nationwide consensus against militancy, a national movement in favour of a free judiciary, a much-needed Twenty20 win, the generosity of host families in the face of mass displacement, and new initiatives to protect women’s and minorities’ rights.

In these trying yet optimistic times, what is your prayer for Pakistan? How do you serve your nation in an effort to make it the country you wish it could be? And where do you hope to see your country in another 20, 30, or 100 years?

Despite all bad stories, I see Pakistan as a great power in future. We have to be positive only. There should be free will. No imposition of ideas and ideologies on others. Free of extremism. Live and let others live. Last not least let us control unruly religious groups who try to enforce their dogmatic ideas on majority of Pakistanis who are democratic. Allah would put them on right path otherwise they would not escape wrath of democracy. Pakistan has surely a bright future. It is not far. Pakistan Zindabad

    @ SAMMER

For your information, Pakistan is a democratic country. Its leaders are elected by people. If Pakistanis elect leaders who may appear corrupt in some people’s eyes, so it be. The wishes of majority of electorate will prevail. That is democracy.

  3. sammer says:

Pakistan will never progress until its ruled by corrupt politicians.

May Allah save Pakistan from all the corrupt politicians.

  4. Fazal Ur Rehman Siddiqui says:

Pakistan is our motherland that is very fertile in providing us maximum socio-economic benefits. It is a land in which all desired resources are available. The issue is that that the people of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan really need the Spirit of Nationalism. We believe Pakistan will survive with honor and spirit till the Doomsday! (Amen)

Dil Dil Pakistan Jaan Jaan Pakistan

O, God, we want the Pakistan of Jinnah, not the Pakistan of Khakis, Mullahs or Saudis.

  7. hn says:

Some misguided leaders put Pakistan on a wrong course.

Good leadership, prayers for the people to question the leadership and a strong faith in non violent diplomacy and some time will save the country.

My prayers are with the peace loving people of Pakistan.

  8. Agha Shar says:

    Long Live Pakistan.

Though these are very true facts as discussed in all above posts that our country is under lot of pressure like Terrorism, Economic crisis, Power Crisis, political Crisis, un-employment, corruption and so on and we have to accept it. This will be our bravo action and real stepping towards building of barriers against all above issues. We have to admit this that we are responsible for all above crisis and each of us is the main cause of occurrence of these issues by one or other way. We do have to be realistic and participate in social awareness of our societies.

“God never changes the fate of nation, who never wants themselves”

I wish and pray from Almighty Allah that forums, communities and institutions should play role and help government to step-out from crisis.

    Long Live Pakistan
    Long Live Homeland

What we are facing in our country is the result of our misdoings. We promised to Allah (SWT) that we would establish His Deen once we’re blessed with an independent country free from British and Hindu slavery. After we got Pakistan, we did not progress towards fulfilling our promises. On the contrary we kept on getting deeper and deeper into the Hindu culture. So the result is obvious. Muslims cannot do real progress without having pleased Allah (SWT). It’s never too late. Let us all Muslims go back to the way of Allah (SWT) & His Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and implement Qur’aan. We have no other option to get of this mess.

  10. 1sadpaki says:

This is Karma and what happens to a Muslim country whose police and government takes the Kalma Sharif off a mosque only to persecute the believers whose beliefs are slightly different from yours and misunderstood.

  11. Pakistan says:

O God, please take back this country and give us a new one!

  12. Jabin says:

Long live Pakistani Christian and Muslim unity. Pakistan is a multiethnic melting pot. May God bless and protect it from it’s enemies who are making every effort to cause disrupt the unity.

  13. IndianPride says:

Please check History, as there ever been peace time in Muslim world or Muslims living in another country – no

Something somewhere is wrong. Think about it we all had enough.

  14. Urooj Javed says:

Long Live Pakistan. YOU ARE MY PRIDE.

  15. Alex says:

I pray for Pakistani Christan people. Please don’t kill them anymore :(

  16. Jabin says:

May God give the wisdom and awareness to the Pakistani people to recognize their enemies – the trainers and founders of terrorist – and May God also protect them from any country trying to undermine them with all kinds of ill wills and manipulations.

  17. aaron says:

God give Pakistanis the wisdom to understand that their creation, the terrorists are destroying Pakistan. Choice is going back to stone age or going modern like India. I know some smart Pakistanis do understand that their policy will determine whether PAKISTAN survives or break into several little pieces.

  18. wellwishes says:

A poverty stricken country is a great breeding ground for terrorist. It’s a great target from enemy countries to fund, train and exploit the poor. Past sanctions can also be blamed for a lot of ills. The first step towards bringing the nation to health is eliminating such widespread poverty by creating jobs, education and protecting the borders from foreign agents and exploiters hiding in the shadows. Therefore, I pray for the Good Health, Prosperity, Wisdom and Security of the Pakistani Nation. May God bless them and protect them always. Aameen.

  19. Ali says:

My message to the people of Pakistan,

TUJ KO LOHA BEN K DUNIYA MEI UBHERNA CHAHIYEE,
TUJ MEI YEE HIMET NEHI HAI DOOB MERNA CHAHIYEE.

  20. sam says:

When even Intelletuals at university levels have mind set of denial and keep seeing phantom outsiders responsible for all the Pakistan’s turmoil, what hope is there for the masses to see the truth?
Even the favourite pass time of so many less than sub standard TV channels is to spew hate and blame others.

  21. satwa gunam says:

Prayers have no meaning if it is not followed by the acts blessed by god.

Pakistan has to set its action towards peace not only internally but towards others. Violence is a double edged sword and with the current experience hope they have learned.

If not for the fool who do not learn lessons from history, history repeats itself.

AS YOU SOW, SO YOU REAP. It is eternal. Nobody can cheat the same for a long time before the divine providence.

  22. ahmer ali says:

I just want to bring out the dilemma associated with our politicians which is that they are just concerned about their own politics and party or personal interests. Pakistan needs the scholars and technocrats to come forward and save the country in this times of crisis. External forces in conjuction with corrupt officials want to fail Pakistan as a state. Unfortunately our elected representatives consider themselves above the law and masters not servants to the nation. All politicians should be removed and national scholars.

  23. Murtuza Babrawala says:

Pakistan’s salvation lies in economic development. The people of Pakistan are tired of extremist agenda’s some of the organizations are trying to impose. These extremist must be eliminated as they have done great harm to Pakistan. Pakistan must develop friendly relations with all neighbors. Neighbors like India and China must be treated as an economic opportunity and market of one billions plus people. Pakistan should and must take advantage of central geographic location and become the economic hub of Asia.

  24. patriotic Indian says:

    Dear Brothers in Pakistan,
The Berlin wall started coming down on the 9thNovember. I wonder when shall the wall of 1947 come down. When shall we begin to see the world with new eyes? When will we stop considering India-pakistan as estranged?. It is time when the world is uniting, we should give peace an opportunity and we may let the borders remain if you so please but lets make them irrelevant. Lets grow together economically and culturally. If there are two people who talk the same language, eat the same food, appreciate the same poetry it is the Indians and Pakistanis. Come on young ones, its out time, let not the old misconceptions stand in our way. We both have a long way to go!

  25. kasab says:

Pakistan is becoming epicenter for terrorism. Soon it will become a failed state. Allah save this country from the rulers and the Terrorists
